The ZAMBI Experience tours can be booked on weekends and begin at 9:30AM.

  • No. ZAMBI Wildlife Retreat is open by appointment only. All visits must be pre‑booked to ensure the safety and comfort of our animals and guests. Booking can be made online.

  • Visits for the ZAMBI Experience can be made on weekends only. We operate by appointment only. For corporate or private mid week events please get in touch to discuss availability.

  • Booking for the ZAMBI Experience and additional encounters can be made for weekends and boked via our website. Additional encounters can also be added following the tour on the day of your visit.

  • Yes. Most areas of the retreat are wheelchair accessible, with few stairs. We have a mobility scooter and wheelchair on site if required. If you have specific requirements, please let us know in advanced when booking.

  • ZAMBI Wildlife Retreat is located in Western Sydney approximately 1 hour from Sydney CBD, and 20 minutes from Penrith. The exact address is provided after booking.

  • ZAMBI is not sitable for children under the age of 12 years old. Safety and animal welfare are always our priority. Encounters are at the discretion of the animal keeper on the day.

  • We often seek new volunteers through a post on social media. Volunteer opportunities are limited and depend on operational needs. You’re welcome to email us to express interest.
